Observation 1.3: Stargazing for the week of 9/15-9/21

Sunday-- It was cloudy out; I observed some constellations such as Scorpius and Ursa Major, but couldn't see too much.

Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday- It was unfortunately raining and I couldn't go outside :(

Thursday- Emma and I went on a run to the front of our neighborhood and saw the moon rise. It started out behind some clouds but then rose and was large and bright and beautiful. I tried to get a picture with my phone, but it really didn't show up too well...

Friday-- Saw the moon rise! It was huge and a waning gibbous and it started out bright yellow-orange. So beautiful. I also saw Scorpius and the Summer Triangle and most of our other constellations that night. :)
