This breathtaking image shows an abundance of stars and dark nebulae along the Milky Way in Argentina. The main amazement of this picture, though, is Comet McNaught, the Great Comet of 2007, streaking the bottom of the sky. I chose this picture because my favorite time to stargaze is when the Milky Way is really visible and bright, and also because I've always wanted to see a comet.
