This APOD is titled "Comet Lovejoy through Morby Castle Ruins." It shows the newly discovered comet from the view through Sweden'd Morby Castle. The comet, discovered only three months ago, has a glowing green coma and trails several degrees. I was especially interested in this post because my astronomy project this quarter is on comets and meteors, and I wanted to further my knowledge on this subject that I find pretty fascinating.
