Tonight at 7:43 PM I got up in the middle of dinner to walk outside and watch the ISS cross the sky. I think my family is used to this sort of thing by now.
The satellite was bright but unfortunately there were a lot of clouds overheard. I did see it as it emerged in the north and watched it travel for a few seconds before it vanished behind a cloud. It peeked out once more for a couple seconds, and that was the last I saw of it. I'm still glad I got to catch it! These things are always worth it.
