I'm excited to post my first image, processed in the NASA MicroObservatory Image software from an image taken with their control telescope and sent to me. Here is the Lagoon Nebula:
To achieve this, I received 3 images of this nebula--one through a red filter, one through a blue filter, and another through a green. I colored the images respectively and combined them, giving me this color image.
